Jerald is a Canadian visual artist, educator and essayist with a focus on personal history through the lens of REBT, rational emotive behavioural therapy, the work of Dr. Albert Ellis. After a debilitating stroke in 2017, he re-tuned his studio to write and explore creating/editing time based art. He has since published 12 books of personal essays and photo-based artwork, the most recent published title Intimate Writings A Living Autobiography “Warning, confidential matters will be discussed.”was released in the winter 2024. Thoughts This Morning on Halloween. Life, must be easy, without discomfort or inconvenience , (or I can’t stand it) this is the helplessness of the narcissist, it is childishness, and it is manipulation of others to use their time and energy (often money) and to not use their own.          In my case it was a learned behavior from my narcissist mother and the religious indoctrination I was born into. I have spent my life growing out of it, looking for the evidence of that belief. Let me, therefore, start with what I think are some legitimate definitions of the term religion.
