Neurodivergent
So I listened to their stories and then showed them what I used to write it down.
In visual art we are taught to work from the general to the specific, as a painter I don’t have to get very specific at all, in fact the details often are irrelevant. So we wrote a general outline and then filled it in. The opening sentence was, this is what I’m writing about generally. I stole the format from Albert Ellis, a doctorate of psychology, here is an example. W.O. Mitchell the famous father of a past girlfriend told me to write the way I talk, so I told them that too.
Growing up I was often chastised for showing off by older siblings and my narcissist surviving parent. Just recently at the seniors building where I live I was criticized for having a clean waxed car. I said I did it to make you look bad. I don’t tolerate it anymore.
My brother refused to come to the ceremony where I was awarded my second degree. Both my brothers and my sister refused to honour my accomplishment as well actually. He said I was putting on airs. I released him back to the wild until he was dying of brain cancer. When in hospital he said I changed my life how did I do that he desperately wanted to know. Words fail. A family therapist said to just consider myself an orphan.
